In the article production activity of the prisoner#s sector in the economics of the Kuzbas in 1943-1945 is considered. The article reveals the reasons, specific features, mechanisms of prisoner#s labor using in the main branches of regional industry, shows prisoner#s distribution in a victory at the labor front. The author studies realization of complex measures necessary for making prisoners healthier and improvements in working conditions and their way of life. The author describes the results of prisoner#s work in large agricultural camp in the Kuzbas. The article is written on basis of sources, some of them put into operation for the first time.
