This article based on the statistic and archival sources is devoted to analyses of mix and homogeneous ethnic matrimonies of Khakas population in 1920-1940s. The main attention is appealed to revelation of historical-cultural grounds of matrimonies# formation in this region, taking into consideration the national specifies; to influence of the demographic processes on the formation of mix and homogeneous ethnic families; to the degree of stability of mix and homogeneous ethnic matrimonies; to the changing of matrimony#s dynamics in this region and factors determined it.
