The fragments of the documentary materials and scientific researches compiled during the long-term expeditions in Far East, Central and Southeastern Asia where different aspects of daily life and ethical standards of the traditional Chinese society are analyzed. Particular attention is given to the information about the specific nature of the character, the peculiarities of etiquette, behaviour of imperial China natives and interpersonal relations between them because these cultural aspects permit to overcome false images and preconceived notions about Chinese civilization.
