The Role of the First Kalmyk Executive Committee Chairman Chapchaev A.Ch. in the Declaration of Autonomy of Kalmyk People

This article is devoted to the examination of the role of the first Kalmyk executive committee chairman. Chapchaev A.Ch. was a prominent state and political figure in Kalmykia and an organizer of the declaration of autonomy of Kalmyk people. The author touches upon the questions of social-economic, state and socially political development of Kalmykia in 1920s - 1930s.
