Ural Students# Daily Life in the Before-Revolution Period

The author analyses daily life of Ural students before the revolution and shows the main spheres of students# interests through the fulfillment of which the younger generation was shaped. Reading, sport, art applied creation, theatre and from the beginning of the XXth century - cinema - are the popular students# interests before the revolution. But the at the end of XIXth - at the beginning of the twentieth century the members of radical parties started drawing the educatees of secondary schools in political struggles and engaged them in the illegal societies and issuing the illegal papers. Decadent moods of the young people demonstrated after revolution 1905-1907 were one of the impulses for experiencing negative sides of public life: visiting drinking establishments, billiard rooms, public houses, setting up free love leagues. The article tells about these special features of daily life.
