The Administrative and Territorial System of Kalmyk Autonomous Region in the 1920s of the XXth Century

The author examines difficulties which are related with a new territorial division of Kalmyk autonomous region in the 1920s. Besides this, in the article the problems of formation of a new Remontnensky uezd and its reorganization into Salsky okrug of Donskaya region are elucidated. The author also touches upon the questions about so-called Manichsky corridor and Donskoy triangle which made normal life of three subjects of Russian Federation difficult.
