The Role of V.I. Anuchin in a Development of Altai Nationalism in 1918

The article dwells upon a insufficiently investigated episode in a history of revolution in Siberia: role of famous public figure V.I. Anuchin in the development of nationalism among Altai ethnic groups. The policy of nationalists for establishing relations with all regional authorities aiming at the achieving of self-government for ethnic groups of Gorniy Altai is investigated. The role of ethnic congress in Ulal for the development of ethnopolitical processes in the region.
