Experimental Farms Development in the Central Chernozem Region during Stolipin Agricultural Reform

The history of the experimental farm development in the Central Chernozem Region during Stolipin Agricultural Reform is discussed. The role of local and governmental authorities is also presented. The importance of the experimental farms in developing educational component of the reform improving agricultural technologies, avoiding conservatism and traditions of peasant agronomy is proved.
