The article is devoted to housing and daily life in the towns on the Russian Far East in second half XIX - at the beginning XX century. In the article analyzed the process of forming city#s way of life, the change of living conditions. Building of the multistoried houses, the appearance of electric station, telephones, running water, ditches and sewage system changed the living conditions in the towns on the Russian Far East.
