From the occurrence in system of historical process of such phenomenon as Cossacks, trade became their constant employment (occupation). In trading operations took part the actual majority of inhabitants of the Cossack villages possessed even insignificant surplus in the facilities (economy). The visitor to merchants stanichniki marketed agricultural production and trade extraction. From merchants got the manufactory goods, footwear, ornaments, domestic utensils and the other goods. Practically each Cossack settlement even for some days in one year turned to the exchange center. Larger consignment of goods were realized on станичных fairs. The first trade fair on the grounds of the Siberian Cossack army was open in 1849.
