The article deals with the main applications problems of the leading sociohumanitarian investigation instruments of modern science to Siberian written history of XX-XXI centuries. Much attention is paid to adaptation and application of the modernisation theory to Siberian written history of XX-XXI centuries. The theory under discussion includes wide investigation possibilities for studying socio-economic, demographic and political episodes in regional history.
