The article deals with features of sociocultural factor influence on the process of evaluation. Being one of the key aspects of evaluation action ethnocultural specificity determines pragmatic evaluative attribution of the object of cognition by means of social conventions, values and norms. It merits detailed consideration among other factors. A few most significant concepts peculiar to some cultural-linguistic communities and means of their linguistic presentation are covered in the article.
