On the Issue of Cooperation between Russia and UNESCO

The article deals with the analysis of the formation and development of the relations between the Russian Federation and UNESCO - the largest intergovernmental forum on the cooperation in the intellectual sphere. The author has attempted to examine the priorities of the bilateral coordination between Russia and UNESCO regarding both internal and external political tasks facing our country. The article states suggestions concerning the perspectives of the Russia-UNESCO cooperation in the context of the present international relations.
