On basement of historical and modern japanese and western researches were analyzed architecture of japanese housing as art that save and repeat the canon-culture items. Japanese art system stages for filling traditional housing, western and japanese art comparison, traditional cultures ways of development - existence, requirements of aesthetic categories, specific of national housing types were lighted. Difference of japanese approach from western will let us to use canon prototype at new way decision of modern housing in Japan and in Russia with art system inclusion.
