The article is devoted to the work of women#s party organizations in the first half of the 1930s. Their activity had several directions: mobilization of women in elections campaigns, use women#s work in industry and agriculture, and also their nomination onto leading party, soviet and economic work. The article touches upon women#s department#s activity aimed at wiping out a illiteracy and semi-literacy among women, development of the children#s pre-school institutions system.
