The object of scientific research is the processes of forming and activity of the Representation of the North Ossetian autonomous region attached to the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee. On the basis of the archive sources complex study of the mechanism of state organization in the autonomous region in 1920-1930s was carried out, Representation position was found in system of the state organization of Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic on the Northern Caucasus.

The author comes to the conclusion that to represent the interests of their own autonomy in central State government bodies of the country, the Representation of the North Ossetian autonomous region was used by them as the ideological body which was called for help to strengthen the Soviet System in the national regions by the use of the solution through the Representation some social, economical and cultural problems.
