The article is devoted to the theme of daily life Soviet people in the wartime. Nowadays this theme is especially actual. Till the last time the priority was given to the studying of public phenomenon and political matters. The outlined desire of scientists to present more adequate picture of life during wartime, studying less analyzed material let us value the level of well being of republics citizens with provision and consumer goods and consider the problems of health protection, living conditions and way of life, that in the end defined the level of efficiency and inhabitance contribution in war industry.
