Political Development Prospects of Siberia in the Works by G.I. Zhernavkov, One of the Representatives of the Late Oblastnichestvo

Oblastnichestvo was an original phenomenon in the public life of Siberia. Arisen an the turn of the 1850-1860-ties, It existed till the beginning of the 1920-ties and went through several stages in its development. G.I.Zhernavkov#s views, one of the late oblastnichestvo, haven#t been studied thoroughly. This figure made an important contribution to the development of the movement#s program and look a new view of the problem between the center and the regions, raised by early oblastniki.
