The research deals with the problems as Britain#s policy towards Yugoslavia in 1941-1943, spheres of influence and some other important questions. Interethnic relations inside Yugoslavia is one of the main aspects the author pays attention to. The topicality of the article is determined by ongoing conflicts on this territory. Great influence on contradictions, for instance between the Serbs and the Croatians, was exerted by superpowers such as Great Britain. Scientific novelty is in an integrated analysis of London#s attitude to Yugoslav government in exile and the Chetniks.
