The article is devoted to lex Claudia 218 B.C. The author gives analytical observation of modern points of views about this law. In the article attentions had paid on attempt of interpreting by lex Claudia in context of Hannibal war in particularly in light the problem Roman navy supply. It is the author#s opinion that lex Claudia is important problem of modern historiography of Middle Roman Republic.
