The Bolshoy Altai as a Climatic Factor

The Bolshoy Altai is a mountain country, it#s Extent is over 1,5 km. It crosses obliquely the borders of latitude climatic zones and appears to be a high-altitude obstacle on a way of circulating air masses, being characterized by complex distribution of mountain-valley #channels#. Various barrier effects of this complex mountain construction geomorphological, climatic and circulating # re considered.
