Estimation of a capillary raising

In the article the way of account of height of a capillary raising is offered on the basis of the requirement of conservation of volume of a liquid in a capillary. The attempt of an explanation of difference of some experiments on height of a capillary raising of a liquid from theoretical estimations is made. As the reason of such difference it are specified the adhesion property of a material.
