Literary reflection being an important element of the literary process can be realized in various forms. These are for instance poetics, theory of literature, critique. However there are other implicit or un-reflected forms of literary self-consciousness. To these we can add the phenomenon of repressed reflection which is being explored in the article on the basis of earlier works by Dostoevsky.
