Divergence between different dictionaries and regular contradiction between grammar and practice demand the common usage investigation of adjective short forms with -en/-enen at the end. The article fulfils all-round orthological analysis of this problem: description of this model in respect of language system, comparison of dictionaries and reference books recommendations, and finally study of the regular departures from norms, committed by ordinary users.
