A few groups of Homo sapiens migrated to Siberia from Asia Minor (50-30 thousand years ago), from Eastern Europe (25-20 thousand years ago) in the process of exploration of adjacent territories. The migrants went along the Northern slopes of the mountains in Southern Siberia. The climate of aridisation (5-3 thousand years ago) led to the migration waves of cattle breeders from the Northern Caspian area (one wave) and Asia Minor (two waves). The migration of cattle breeders from Eastern Asia began during the colder period (2800 years ago).
