In this article the sights of the founders of Slavophilism are considered concerning the most perfect form of the organization of a society and political authority. Being convinced in imperfection of all existing and ever existing political forms, Slavophiles nevertheless have tried to find the optimal of them, whenever possible overcoming defects of the others. Slavophiles counted such form autocracy. The Slavophil political ideal crystallized in its opposition to all other political systems which seemed to Slavophiles only the various forms of its degradation: absolutism, constitutional monarchy, aristocratic and democratic republic.
