This article is devoted to study of the peculiarities of postmodernism as the antimetaphysical form of philosophizing. The author comes to the conclusion that the postmodernists propose the new understanding of philosophy as the creative activity. In result of this activity the philosopher creates the new imaginative worlds and also the new senses and ways of human being. The author of this article believes that the ironic method may be used with effect in postmodernism and shows how it may be done.
