The population in CIS: present situation and prospects

In the given work contemporary demographic situation in CIS countries, the basic tendencies in natural development of the population and its relevant parameters of birthrate, death rate, natural increase in population, lifetime are considered. The structure of the population is characterized, and the forecast of a demographic situation till 2050 is represented.
