The article presents the results of ethnosociological research aimed at studying "mutual rating" of representatives of Christian and Moslem cultures of the Altai territory. The research was conducted by using J.B. Mangame's and R.K. Rich's methods. The research showed mutual complementary and neutral character of Christian and Moslem ethnic communities of the Altai territory; the lack of conflict tendency in Russian social outlook towards "Moslem world" and negative perception of European, Christian culture and civilization by Moslem-Kazakhs.
