Character-Liar and Character-Dreamer in F.M. Dostoevsky's and V.M. Shukshin's works

Dostoevsky gives a deep insight of philosophy of lie in his works. The author's lie is of interest here as national and psychological phenomenon. Shukshin continues his philosophical speculations on this very topic in different historical epoch. This article presents an analysis of Shukshin's stories: "General Malapheykin", "The Strong go Further" and so on.
