The level of contamination by petroleum of different objects of an ecosystem of Barnaulka-river was investigated.

It was state that the snow in an inshore part of Barnaulka-river everywhere contaminated by petroleum. In day water of Barnaulka-river the petroleum concentration changes from 0,02 up to 6,15 mg/dm³. It was affirmed by means chromatomass-spectrometry that petroleum contamination of the river water in the feature of Barnaul has the anthropogenic character, and in the first and second pointes remote from the city - natural character. Bottom sediments of the Barnaulka-river in the all points except seventh point can be referred to the clean, moderately-contaminated by petroleum (up to 40 mg/100g). The level of contamination by petroleum of the soils states on the low level (0,02-1,17 mg/g) and yet can't produce negative events for these soils.
