Prolongation of pregnancy is a pathology that brings increasing of intranatal and early postnatal mortality. Investigation of psychological peculiarities of women with prolonged pregnancy was carried out. It was revealed, that very good mood, high activity, faint feeling of loneliness and high frequency of psychological stress sates are distinctive psychological features of women with prolonged pregnancy. Distinctive features of character of these women are low motivation of achievement, high emotivity, high conformity, moderate expressivity. If that complex of features is revealed in pregnant woman, it allows to forecast prolongation of pregnancy.
