Research of thermal and mechanical working on relaxation spectra of porous iron

The research of relaxation spectra of porous iron with different values of porosity in a wide range of temperatures has been carried out. The influence of thermal and mechanical working on internal friction has been investigated. The displacement of grain boundary maximum depending on porosity and kind of processing has been established. The physical mechanisms responsible for dissipations of energy of elastic vibrations in porous materials have been considered.
