Application of statistical methods on signal processing to the analysis of aerosol plumes digital videoimages

The paper presents the telephotometric method for point source efficiency monitoring which could be applied for remote evaluation of aerosol emission in atmosphere.
The majority of the paper is devoted to the problems of forming, initial processing of dynamic images and their analysis. The result of statistical processing and the analysis of videoimages of bench experiment on modeling of aerosol distribution in atmosphere are discussed. The possibility of transition from investigation of model objects to the typical industrial ones is under consideration.
