Quality of water of basin river Barnaulka (Altai region) in 1996-1998 with biological analysis was investigated. Level of saprobity and degree of pollution was measured by zoobenthos, trophigy - by pigment characteristics of phytoplankton. Biological index of saprobity by Pantle and Buck, index Woodiviss, index of Goodnight and Whitley and index of species variety by Margalef were used. Increase of degree of pollution in frontiers of Barnaul-city was discovered and estimated possibility of use this indexes on West Siberia. Correlated analysis of all indexes between its and facts of chemical analysis was conducted.
